Eckhart Tolle’s Milton’s Secret is Robert S. Friedman’s Gift/ Interview
March 8, 2009 by KitabuRoshi
If The Power of Now did not do enough to establish the name of author, Eckhart Tolle, his collaborative effort with Oprah Winfrey around his book, The New Earth certainly filled in the gap.
As children, not only did we naturally live in the now but the earth, itself, was new, as a matter of course. By the time we lose our innocence we no longer experience this marvelous world in its suchness. Suppose there was a way to keep the freshness? Robert S. Friedman, the publisher of Neale Donald Walsch, Conversations With God and Richard Bach, The Messiah's Handbook (Hampton Roads Publishing Company...which also publishes some of my books) thought that it would be a good idea for Tolle to write a children's book. What actually happened to everyone's surprise, especially Bob's, is that he became co-author of the book, Milton's Secret. Now you can hear the first ever interview about the book with Eckhart Tolle collaborator Robert S. Friedman. on Soul Sword Zen Radio.
MILTON'S SECRET By Eckhart Tolle and Robert S. Friedman
Note: I decided to leave the bloopers on this interview unedited because they represent a real-life exchange between long-time friends.
